Unspeakable Joy

Unspeakable Joy

Our son turned 2 years last month. When he was born, it was a moment of unspeakable joy. Tears were running down my cheek. Joy was radiating from my face and I felt an overwhelming touch of fulfillment of achievement. Everyone who was present was filled with unspeakable joy, smiling at the baby, welcoming him, receiving him into this world, and into this family.

It is and will always be a miracle,  a wonderful gift, which the Lord has blessed women with, who are child bearing and giving birth.

When God sent his son Jesus, as a gift to us,  to redeem us from our sins, the Bible says, that many  angels are rejoicing over one single soul, that has recognized that Jesus has died, is risen and receives him in his or her heart.

Luke 15: 7 (KJV) “I say unto you that likewise more joy shall be in Heaven over one sinner that repenteth, than over ninety and nine just persons who need no repentance.”

A person who receives Jesus Christ, welcomes him into his/her heart.

And whosoever receives him, becomes a child of God. In that very moment unspeakable joy enters the person. A joy which is far greater than anything on this world can give to you.

John 1: 12 (KJV) “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

A few days ago, my daughter told me, by describing a person’s situation to me:” Mommy, it is like she (a person) being on this side and Jesus on the other side, looking at each other without being really connected.” We were talking about a person who says, that she loves Jesus, but her whole life looks more as if Jesus is standing by her, not being within her. What an inside my daughter has had.

Jesus wants to live within us. His Spirit comes and dwells inside man, when we open our hearts to him. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is then within us, not just standing by. What an amazing moment, when receiving Jesus. A moment of joy. All fear is gone. Peace has come. Jesus has moved inside our”home”, not just standing on the other side of the road looking at our home.

Galatians 2: 20 (NIV)  “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Just as women give birth. Many many mothers are under fear during pregnancy and during birth. But the moment the baby is born, all fear is gone. Only joy, peace and hope remains.

Psalm 34: 4 (KJV) “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

The question I have for those who say, that they are born again is:” How much do you maximize your lifestyle, knowing that Jesus Christ is living within you?”

How does your daily lifestyle looks like? Are you streaming with unspeakable joy? Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit. He will teach us all truth, guide us, fill us with joy, hope and peace. Do you have the joy and peace of the Holy Ghost visible in your life?

Romans 14: 17 (KJV) “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.”

Our part is to draw close to God, get to know him MORE. Not just singing songs like” I need you more in my life”, or “More of you Lord”. It is  up to us to see the “more of Jesus” in our lives. But daily spending time with him. Reading the Holy Scriptures, praying asking God for greater inside into his Word. Love for His Word.

“Draw near to me…. James 4:8 (NIV) “Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

What kind of relationship is that when one person is standing by? Just like doctors are standing by, in case. Just in case. And still they sometimes don’t show up, when one calls them, or has need of them. Many years ago, I called on a doctor for someone in need, a doctor who supposedly should be standing by when an emergency happens. Well, he did not show up, when he was needed. He preferred for the person to go to another doctor in the morning, than being called during the night. So was his advice given then. The person had a big heart attack, and suffered greatly, which could have been prevented. No, we don’t want Jesus standing by, just in case when we need him. We want him always to be there. To be sure, that he is there for us 24/7.

What about miracles? What about hearing the voice of the Lord? And what about being confident that when we pray the Lord hears us?

All these are important questions, which, when you have Jesus as your Saviour in your life, you should experience daily. The Lord gives us strength, he helps us in times of need. He lifts us up, when we are down. We should not be down anymore. We should be rejoicing in the Lord, as he has heard our prayers.

“The Lord is not deaf, nor does he slumber.”

Isaiah 59:1 (NLT)  “Listen! The LORD’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call.”

Psalm 121:4 (KJV) “Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.”

Praise the Lord! Our victory has come. We have succeeded, by receiving Jesus!

This is our answer, following the Lord daily, listen to his voice, being joyful, remembering the good things the Lord has done. Halleluja!

There are many, who are unfortunate, those who have not heard about the Lord’s Goodness. But there is hope! You are here, with having received Jesus, You can share the unspeakable joy, which comes into your heart when you have received Jesus and His joy dwells inside of you,  by sharing the good News about Jesus to others.

This is our report!Unspeakable Joy

When you have never prayed a prayer of salvation, meaning: You ask the Lord Jesus Christ to come into your heart, than You can do this now.

“God, I know I need Jesus in my life.  I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life now, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. I ask for forgiveness for any wrong doing consciously and unconsciously I have committed. Thank you for forgiving me my sins now. Thank your In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

Now God will give you power to become the son or daughter of God, filled with his peace, joy and hope, which the Holy Spirit will give to you.

John 1: 12 (KJV) “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:”

How to continue? Get a Bible, start reading the Gospel of John and start looking for a good church, who is teaching the whole Word of God. You will get to know Him more and see and experience all His benefits as promised in Psalm 103.
