“It is about Miracles!
By Dr. Judith Emenike
Have you ever had the desire for miracles? I desire miracles everyday. My whole family desires miracles everyday! I became a believer because I saw a miracle happening. The month of December as well as March or April should focus our eyes on miracles. Because of what God, the Father did to us, by sending Jesus Christ (Christmas) and by Jesus Christ dying for us (Easter).
Psalm 77:14 King James Version (KJV)
14 Thou art the God that doest wonders (miracles): thou hast declared thy strength among the people.
It is God’s desire to do miracles for you, to show his mighty power among all nations, all people, every culture, to every man on Earth! Remember for YOU!
Definition of Miracle found in the free dictionary.
1. An event that appears inexplicable by the laws of nature and so is held to be supernatural in origin or an act of God.
2. One that excites admiring awe; a wonderful or amazing event, act, person, or thing.
Yes, it was an inexplicable thing, that a woman got pregnant, not knowing any man ( Matthew 1:18).
Yes, it was an inexplicable thing by the laws of nature, for Elisabeth, Maria’s Cousin, to be pregnant (Luke 1:7). She was too old and barren at the same time.
Both events are miracles. Miracles that refer and is about Christmas. Jesus Christ was born. We don’t know his actual birthdate, we might assume September or October, as the shepherds were still out in the field, and historically the counting took place around the tabernacle celebration, causing all hotels to be full, but all mankind is celebrating Jesus’s birthday on December 24 and 25.
Psalm 57:2King James Version (KJV)
2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.
This year and the year coming lift up your voices to God in prayer and expect miracles. ” Lord, as you have done miracles 2014 years ago, have done many miracles during the life time of JESUS, and are still doing many miracles today, so let it be in my life. Help me to look unto you, the miracle working God! Yes, You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End.
the Miracle Working God!“
As long as God has not told you that the end of miracles have come, so long you can still expect Him to do miracles for you.Today!
The angle of the Lord came upon the shepherds on the filed by night, and the glory of the Lord shone around about them. What a miracle, and amazing event, creating awe, fear of God in the shepherds.
The angel of the Lord declared:
“Luke 2:11-12King James Version (KJV)
11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.”
Suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
Luke 2:14King James Version (KJV)
14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Wow,suddenly a multitude of the heavenly host was there : Heavenly host (Hebrew: צבאות sabaoth, “armies”) refers to a large army (Luke 2: 13). A very large crowd, large number. The word million or billion did not excist at that time. My personal thought on this is, that the number of heavenly host were so many, that it was impossible for the shepherds to count it.
Not a silent night in that sense, but a glorious one, a night filled with countless of angles singing to the glory of God. The shepherds heard them.
What can God not do? There is nothing God cannot do for you. The Bible says, there is only one thing God cannot do, that is to lie.
Numbers 23:19King James Version (KJV)
19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
He healed the sick, he raised the dead, he gave men visions and dreams, he let angels appear, he let the dead arise with Jesus and they walked all over town when Jesus rose from the dead. Paul was blinded through the glory, the light of God, but God send someone to give him his eye sight back. God doesn’t want any man or woman to suffer. Jesus healed Peter’s mother in law from a high fever. Jesus made the crippled walk again. Peter and John were used by God to do miracles. The Bible records, that Paul was used to do unusual miracles in the sight of men.
KJV Acts 19: 11 “And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12 So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.“
Be encouraged this Christmas 2014 and the coming New Year 2015! Jesus the Son of God, came for you to perform miracles for you!
Expect miracles in every aspect of your life. It does not depend on God, but on us, the children of God to desire, to pray and to receive the miracles! It is God who want to perform miracles in your life!
Merry Christmas and Miraculous Happy New Year 2015,
