Doug and Anne L. are the praise and worship leaders at
VOP.
Doug was healed at the very beginning of the
Whirlwind.
Since coming in contact with the ministry of Pastors
Victor and Judith Emenike his life and the life of his
family has been transformed.
Doug has learned that God has not called him to be a
singer. Rather, he is to be a psalmist.
Like the psalmists of old, Doug does not just sing.
Instead, he allows the power of God to flow through him
so that God Himself can minister to those he comes in
contact with.
At the end of September 2006 he had several concerts
arranged in Europe including concerts in Belgium and
Germany.
This is a letter Doug L. wrote from Belgium:
Greetings from Vilvoorde, Belgium! We have had an
awesome two nights of services here in Belgium. Last
night the Glory of God was so strong, that nobody in
the church could move or speak for a long time. We
were all just awe struck by His awesome presence.
After the service, Ferdy T., who is a friend of
Pastor Victor's, came to us and said, that he has
always been a very practical, logical person. He said
that he never falls out in the Spirit or such things
as this.
Then with tears in his eyes, he said, “I have
never experienced the presence of God like this
before. I could not move or speak and I was soaking
up His glory and moving in His flow. I do not know
how much time went by, but I could have stayed in His
glory and presence for hours.”
This was a new "God" experience for many
here in Belgium.
The first night God had us call up all the youth
of the church and prophesy to each one. One young
lady, Mariella, received a word that although she did
not think of herself as beautiful, God saw her as a
beautiful young woman. When she heard the word, she
began to weep as God sent her a special message of
His love for her. Later that night, we asked for
people to come up for prayer for healing.
The night before Sister Anne was having problems
with her feet. We prayed and Anne's feet were totally
healed. Because of this, we felt a special anointing
to pray for healing of feet. Mariella came up for
prayer. She said, that as a child, she never had good
shoes and that her feet had a lot of problems because
of this. We prayed for her healing and after we
prayed, God told us to give her money to buy new
shoes. The next night she came to service with her
new shoes.
God had blessed her, healed her and transformed her
life. Praise God!!
We are off to Duisburg, Germany today (Friday
Sept.29th, 2006).
