This testimony from John W. expands some of the information from his previous testimony.

Testimony date: 2nd of February 2003

As part of my job working in Hydro and Diesel plants, which are noisy, I am asked to do an annual heaing test. The routine goes like this.

I make an appointment and then I get tested. The results are filed and a copy sent to the office for the record.

The time God healed my ear was different. As soon as the test was completed the Nurse asked me to look at the charts which showed the past results and the sudden improvement. Since most people who cheat are trying to prove loss of hearing for claims, the nurse asked what I had been doing differently.

I have no other answer than to say I have been prayed over in a healing service and believe Jesus wants to make me whole.

Thank you Jesus.

One of the doctors of the hearing clinic goes to my church and he asked to look at my file. He looked to see that it the report about the test was true. It is not possible to cheat about having better hearing on a hearing test.

Victor's visit

Before Victor, came we prayed for the services. As we prayed over what to be prepared for, people talked about people giving their hearts to God and possibly new people coming to church. Some people asked how many were expected and 80 to 100 were planned for.

Since I hand out Bibles through the program I work with, I had the sense that God was telling me to plan for 300 people.

People filled out cards after the altar calls and were taken out to receive prayer and to introduce them to the local church.

Follow-up

There was just over 300 cards completed for follow-up work after Victory and the team left. We prayed over these cards and the follow-up saw many people start coming to church or restarting a faith walk of coming to church.

Victory went to a town called Ft Resolution and 75 to 85 decisions for Christ weere made. Some of the bibles were handed out.

Later in the fall I arranged for the Gideon's to go to the same town and give bibles to every school child. The principle said " Oh you are welcome here. Many people have renewed their faith and are reading the bible"

Every child from Grade 3 to grade 12 received a bible from the Gideon's that day.

Yes its not Victor but Jesus who does this precious work. We who live here, and follow up after Victor's Crusades can see doors fly open when such great faith comes to town.

Our faith has been increased to ask for more of the Lord.

We visited the following places to distribute Bibles. This is so much easier when God' miracles are happening.

Ft.Providence, Detah, Yellowknife, Hay River, Ft. Smith, Jean Marie River, Ft. Liard, Rae, Edzo, Ft.Simpson,

We distributed 250 Bibles in Cambridge Bay alone (people had traveled to Victor's Meetings and God was changing things in their town).

People are more hungry for the word and we have men who are planning to go to more northern places via ice roads, Wha Ti', Rae Lakes, Wriggley, Normanwells,Inuvik and others.

Money matters.

When I looked at what money can do to earn interest in the Banks, I see number like 5% and maybe 10%.

The house/Duplex investment cost about $700 per month in mortgage fees.

With the rent at 15% lower than average rent, I am receiving three times this cost at $2100 per month.

God clearly gave me the vision to see what the man did not see in his run down house but what it could be. This house did not even have heat in the up stairs ! and in the north with -40 days. With heavenly direction and the help of a Christian contractor, the house was turned back into the Duplex which means two family groups can live in it. We have a negative housing available list (no available space). Businesses are closing because they cannot find workers. There is more work than people.

I work as an Electronic Engineering tech doing remote control of Hydro and Diesel equipment. This often sees me traveling to all the sites for work and being called out when everythings breaks.

During the last year both my office partners have committed to work Monday to Friday in order to be home for the Weekend. We stopped asking for double time on weekends and planned our work to all be done during the week.

After two years I am able to look back and see that God has blessed this plan. My supervisor at work came one day and stated that his biggest problem is to explain why there is no money spent on overtime. Their eyes have been open to pay standby pay for being on call which makes up for the loss of overtime. This leaves us at home for weekends. We pray that Satan leaves our equipment alone so it doesn't wear out or break down. (God is honouring that prayer).

We pray for insight to see what needs doing and when we take things apart for scheduled maintenance we usually hear, "Wow this was ready to break, you did it just in time".

God is always on time. People make 65 to 85 K per year so to look at the year end and see that I have been blessed with over 100K  proves it.
