Report from Stony Plain, Alberta.

Stony Plain is a community a few kilometres west of Edmonton, the capital of the province of Alberta, Canada.

Lighthouse Church in Stony Plain is a Pentecostal church whose heart is to reach the people in and around Edmonton and Stony Plain with the Good News of the healing power that is only found in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Victor was invited by Pastor Archie Binnie to minister at Lighthouse Church 16-22 September 2005.

The Sunday evening service began with worship led by the Lamb Sisters.

This group of worshippers regularly travel to many Indian Reserves and other communities throughout Alberta to sing the praises of God.

One of the songs was an African song, which in English is called "Jesus Loves You."

A lady in African dress danced unto the Lord while the song was playing.

Pastor Archie Binnie then introduced Pastor Victor.

Moses saw the goodness of God. As a result, all the things people saw and experienced was a direct consequence of God revealing His goodness.

• People seek healing, but need divine health.
• People seek signs and wonders, but need divine power.
• People seek to feel good, but they need divine knowledge.

What you see today is not the best of what God wants for you, but remember that He gives you to the level of your request.

• Elisha went after the real thing. He wanted what Elijah had and wanted it double.
• Jacob wrestled with an angel until God blessed him.

We need to find out for ourselves what the highest calling is for us by searching the scriptures.
That way, we own it for ourselves.

Pastor Victor then told various stories about the healings that he had witnessed recently.

The subsequent teaching time included the following observation.

• Many people are looking for harvest.
• However, in order to have a harvest you need a vision, because without a vision, the people perish.
• And if the people perish, there will be no harvest.
• You therefore need to find the vision God has for your city, and your community.

The big danger is if you try to import the vision that worked successfully in another city or community.

God does not make copies. Each person is unique and God's vision for your city is unique as well.

You need to spend time before the Lord to discover His unique plan.

Only if you have this revelation will you be able to enter into the Harvest.

And in all we thank our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for doing such mighty work through us.
