Report from Stony Plain, Alberta.

Stony Plain is a community a few kilometres west of Edmonton, the capital of the province of Alberta, Canada.

Lighthouse Church in Stony Plain is a Pentecostal church whose heart is to reach the people in and around Edmonton and Stony Plain with the Good News of the healing power that is only found in Jesus Christ.

Pastor Victor was invited by Pastor Archie Binnie to minister at Lighthouse Church 16-22 September 2005.

On Saturday Morning, Pastor Victor was invited to give a teaching to a small group of people who came to Lighthouse Church in Stony Plain, Alberta.

Pastor Victor explained that there is an earthly level of knowing something, but that sort of knowledge will puff you up. On the other hand, there is a spiritual "knowing" that will set you free.

For example, knowledge about what cancer does to a body only brings fear, but knowing that cells are going crazy, and knowing that this must stop, brings God's miraculous power.

Once you know that this must stop, there is no longer a need to pray that God will hear you, because you already know that God heard you the first time.

There is no need to exercise faith for your healing; you only need to know that you have the faith of Christ.

You do not need to make yourself believe; you only need to rest in the belief of Jesus Christ.

You do not need head knowledge, because it only brings fear.

If you believe it is hard to heal then you are limiting the power of God.

All you need to do is to know in your spirit. Your spirit needs to know that God can set you free.

In order for you spirit to know this, simply command your brain to know that healing CAN be done. As you do this, you can then say, "Thank you Lord, it is done."

When we speak, we create things. If we speak complicated speech we will get complicated results. The results will be more difficult to understand.

Yet if we speak simply we will get simple results and our spirit will be able to understand it and know it.

We therefore need to speak to our brain in order to convince it that all things are possible.

Our biggest problem is that we have told ourselves things that are creating barriers. These barriers prevent God from doing the things He wants to do in our lives and the lives of the people around us.

If we "say" that something is impossible, then it IS impossible.

By speaking out that something is impossible we are creating in our lives an impossibility that is as powerful as God Himself.

As a result, we create an impossibility that is able to control our entire life.

The simple solution is to simply stop thinking that way.

We need to remember that we are from God. Because we are from God, we operate in the realms of God.

Jesus not only operated in the realms of the Spirit, He also operated in the realms of God.

In the Book of Revelation the apostle John was in the Spirit. He was then invited to come up higher. He was invited to enter into the realms of God.

Remember though that speaking positively is not going to work. If you do that you will only control the realms of the natural.

The point is this.

Do you want to do things the easy way or the hard way?

God gave Solomon rest in all his kingdom. As a result he had peace with his neighbours and Israel grew to be the richest country of the area.

This happened because the people met God at Jerusalem. Because of this, God rested in Jerusalem and gave rest to Solomon and his kingdom.

The people entered God's rest. They did not create a rest of their own.

If we read the words God spoke in the first chapter of Genesis, we will find that God spoke for less than one minute in order to create the heavens and the earth.

If God can do that in such a short time, is there anything He cannot do?

When the seventy disciples rejoiced that the demons were subject to them, Jesus rejoiced that they were getting a revelation of the realms of God.

The realms of the natural always talk of prayer. If we walk in this realm we constantly need to pray that God would do something.

The realms of God always talk of results. If we walk in this realm we constantly look for God to be doing something miraculous.

Sometimes people that we pray for are not healed. Sometimes our prayers are unanswered.

The answer to this problem is this.

We need to "know" spiritually what we want.

We then need to "know" in our spirit that God can do it.

We have been locked in the realms of the natural for too long.

We need to enter into the realms of the Spirit and the realms of God. Father God cannot change. He could not even change while Jesus was suffering.

We therefore must change.

Our example is Jesus Christ who said, "I cannot speak of my own accord, but only speak what the Father says."

As a result, the spiritual atmosphere changed.

Pastor Victor's closing prayer was that God would teach us how to think in the realms of God.

We want to say thanks to all those who are praying for us.

And in all we thank our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for doing such mighty work through us.
