Yellowknife area update

Report date: 10th of December 2002

It has now been 4 months since Brother Victor came to Hay River, NWT.

As I spoke of before, we started regular services in 2 communities approx. 100 miles away in different directions.

In September & October the Lord kept sending in extra ministries to accent His work. Teachers, Preachers, Evangelists. Many we took to the communities to share with the people. Hundreds of Bibles were sent from Canada and the US.

Below is a follow-up report on these outreaches.

Ft. Providence - 60 to 70 saved in Victor's meetings

Although our services started out rather small, God was there. We'd have 2 or 3 come, but we saw a miracles working in a progressive manner.

One senior man started coming. He was depressed, had given up on life. After regular exposure to the anointing, he now is bubbly, bouncing into service, outgoing and you can really see Jesus in his expressions.

We have the chiefs' mother coming. At first we interrupted her drinking to invite her. She came, under the influence of that other spirit. We saw Jesus touch her and she started glowing. Burdens left like a light bulb being turned on. Now, weeks later, she is there, often early, excited and growing in Jesus.

We had a medicine man saved and healed of an eye problem. We've seen dozens come and receive a touch of His power. Many are returning regularly.

WE NOW HAVE AN AVERAGE OF 15-20 ATTENDING OUT REGULAR SATURDAY NIGHT SERVICES.

Victors interpreter, Agnes, has really caught the fire. She now has Thursday night Bible Studies in her home, with 15 - 20 coming. She now has a Children's Church on early Sat. afternoons with about 20 kids. Then an older kids church with about 15 coming.

This is exciting because the vision is growing. We travel there as often as we can. At times, the weather doesn't permit. One time, the car broke down.

We've probably seen another 40 - 50 touched dramtically by His Spirit.

All we know is JESUS IS ON THE MOVE IN THE NORTH!

FT. RESOLUTION - 70 to 90 saved in Victor's meetings

For over 30 days, many of the 'normal' drunks in town quit drinking. The attendence fluctuated from 2 to 40. Now the normal is about 15 -20. Some of the alcoholics in town no longer drink. Many are being touched in Healing and Deliverance.

One man requested prayer after service. He said that his entire right left eas numb and his lower back was completely worn out and ruined. As we prayed, he yelled out. I asked," what's that?" He said a lightening bolt shot through his leg. Then he said, the feeling had come back. Then he said that something has happened to his back. He did everything he could to make his back hurt. Only to find strength and wholeness.

The people are now gathering in strength and are working together to reach their community.

Revival has come to the "forsaken" people.

Now other communities like Fort Smith, Kakisa, Trout Lake, Fort Rae, Rae Lakes, Jean Marie River, Fort Simpsom and Wrigley are asking for us to come.

They are also excited to know that Brother Victor is coming.

Jail Services

Over 80 commitments for Chrsit in One Year

Not bad for a jail population of 36.

We now do 2 services on Sunday afternoons in the jail.

Just recently we had another total change of people. Many go home, others come in. In 2 services 12 more come into His Glorious Light.

    One testimony was a man who was in total dispair. Not only was he in jail, but he was banned from his community for 3 years. He committed his life to Jesus. And we prayed.

That was 6 months ago. Yesterday I saw him. God restored his family and his favor in the community with no Ban time.

Praise His Name.We are receiving reports from all over the North of Lives that are being changed by His Power.

One man had been in jail 14 out of 17 years. The previous

3 years were in solitary confinement. He was called the Godfather of that Jail. Jesus got ahold of his Life. In 3 months he went from Solitary Confinement to a cell block with others. Then to General Population. Shortly after, he went to the trailer as a trustee. Now, he's free inside and out. He's been out of jail now for over 3 years and God is blessing. What's the difference? He was willing to do the Work of the Word to whatever degree was needed.

It;s a life changing Gospel.

These things are Great, but we are expecting to see an even greater work to develop. Please pray for laborers.

As Bible School is preparing, the Lord is bringing talented, anointed men and women hungry to travel to these communities In His Name.
