Wonderful Report from the Pastor of Hay River

Report date: 11th of August 2002

Praise the Lord!

This is a report of a Miracle Healing Crusade that we just finished here in Hay River.

Because of these meetings, we are now starting two outreach ministries in two separate communities each approximately 150 km from here in different directions.

These came out of the need to follow up on this crusade, which reached out to both communities for 1 night each. I will explain later.

Evangelists Victor and Judith Emenike have come to the Northwest Territories twice before within the last 18 months or so.

He is from Nigeria and she is from Germany. Married for 9 years with three children, they pastor two churches in Germany. The Lord has been moving mightily through their ministries in the realm of Miracles and healings.

On this trip, two family teams came from Victoria to assist. God healed one lady from this team approximately 2 years ago from Lupus. Her 15-year-old son (who was with them) was healed of ADS. We have heard of and my wife has seen many of the works that the Lord has done through their ministry.

Our crusade, in Hay River, was for 5 days, including a women's meeting that all the men attended too. I estimate that at least 30 to 40 people came to Christ. Several were baptized in the Holy Ghost. We saw about two dozen or more ears opened. There were a few eye problems touched and many left with their canes on their shoulders instead of in their hands to walk. Others, with extreme back pain were healed. The POWER of God touched Dignitaries of various levels.

People were freed of various bondages like anger and stubbornness.

Probably the most notable of these was a 42-year-old deaf-mute.

This man had NEVER heard a word before. As far as he had ever gone was to feel the vibrations of music. One of his ears opened and he repeated in a simple manner (since he never heard, he never spoke) words and numbers spoke to him even from behind him. Isn't God Great?

Another remarkable thing was the number of young people who came in out of curiosity for a few minutes and wound up on the floor under the Power.

All gave their lives to Him.

Another miracle was the contrary spirits of people who continually opposed us for years have repented and are now getting behind us. Praise God!

There was another thing that the Lord directed, that is worth mentioning.
Brother Victor shared with me about his trip to a community called Lutsel'ke or (Snowdrift).

This community has about 300 people and you can only reach it by airplane during non-winter months. In one service, about 90 people came to Christ.

The sad part of this is that NO ONE followed-up on them after Victor left even though many promised to.

God gripped my heart. At that point, I vowed to My Lord and to Victor that any community that I take him to, if none is available to follow-up, I WILL.

This is how our two new works began. In addition, I am believing that the Lord is going to open doors for us to get into Lutsel'Ke. In fact, this week alone, I have received many phone calls from Lutsel'Ke, partially business, BUT ALL asking for spiritual guidance, one wanting to prepare for a wedding. HUNGER IS GROWING, PRAISE GOD!

Ft. Resolution

This community was once a hub of activity. It has deteriorated to a sad state. Nevertheless, Jesus came to town. The Pentecostal church here is boarded up and the pastor is not in town. The only other church is Catholic. Our meeting started with a fill house of about 70.

After the preaching, before even one healing, almost every person came forward to accept Christ. Throughout the rest of the service, many more came in and about 20 more accepted Jesus. We saw many of the elderly touched by His Power. Numerous healings took place in the area of ears, legs, and back.

Probably the most notable was a little six or 7-year-old girl. Born pigeon toed, it was shown how she had run with her little legs stroking out the sides of her body motion. We literally saw the power of the spirit straighten her legs and she could run perfectly normal.

Her nurse was so overwhelmed that she almost fainted. She also had seen elderly men remove their hearing aides and walkout without their canes.

The approx. number that came to Christ was 90. Some, we know, were already saved, bringing the true number to about 65 or 70. We now have a commitment from at least 30 or more to attend our weekly services.

Ft. Providence

This community has a reputation for its hardness towards God. Although we did experience a bit of resistance, God quickly took care of it.

After the preaching, again, before any miracles, approximately 60 came forward. Another 20 to 30 came forward. We saw marvelous things. The most notable miracle was a woman in a wheelchair. When I picked her up at the convalescent home, I noticed that her right leg was lifeless. She had to pick it up with the hands to move it.

At the service, Brother Victor told her to stand. She stood up. Even on the video, we could see that she stood on one leg with the right one dangling, lifeless. He commanded her to walk. She swung her lifeless leg forward. As she put pressure on it, she started to wobble and fall.

She caught herself and you could see life and strength come into the leg. She walked all the way across the floor. Yes, a bit wobbly, but nonetheless, she walked. Now, she sat the rest of the service until the end in a regular chair. She also had a withered right hand and a frozen arm. The lord straightened her arm so she had free movement. I do not know what happened to her hand for I was ministering deliverance to a bunch of alcoholics. However, when someone took her home, she not only walked to the car but she got into it on her own strength. Who said that God doesn't do miracles today?

This move of God also necessitated a commitment to follow through.

The Pentecostal church here wasn't having services and the pastor was gone. So, here for now, we will do services until the new Pentecostal pastor arrives. Then, if he is the right kind of person, we will gladly turn them over to him. We will only do these outreach services until there is availability for proper teaching.

Now

As we continue in this flow, more opportunities will arise for ongoing ministry.
