Mexico, 2006.
Pastor Victor was in Zacatecas, Mexico for a two day crusade at the beginning of July, 2006.
He was invited there by his host and translator Dr. Carlos Duribe.
In order to get there he flew to Guadalajara and took a four-hour car ride through the mountains of Mexico.
This road had over five hundred curves in it, which means that there is at least one curve every minute of the trip.
The beautiful scenery is similar to the area of San Marcos- San Pedro in Guatemala.
It took 6 months to prepare for the campaign.
Because large numbers of people were expected the organizers rented the local rodeo stadium.
It was the first time that this facility was used for a Christian event.
Three thousand flyers and four hundred posters were printed and distributed to advertise the crusade.
Along with this publicity, the local radio and TV stations publicized the event through advertising spots.
In order to reach the meetings, some people drove 24 hours non stop from the 6000 foot high mountains to receive a miracle.
This was the first time such a large Christian event has taken place in this area and the people were hungry to receive a miracle from God.
This was the first time many had ever seen the miraculous power of God.
