Album: Cameroon, West-Africa November 2010

Cameroon, West-Africa November 2010

We traveled to Cameroon for 15 days.
It Is Easy Ministries organized an outdoor evangelism in Yaounde and cooperated with a church in Douala.
We arrived in the airport in Douala, the busiest economic city in Cameroon. Cameroon has 9 French Zones and 2 English Zones.
In both Zones the citizens are learning both languages. It has a surely the “French” touch, but is has still its own culture, its own way of doing it the “African Way”. We have met so many nice people, enjoyed amazing many sights, learned about their culture and experience adventure. This and much more is what this album is about. It is designed to educate what Cameroon has to offer and what we saw during our Mission Trip to Douala and Crusade in Yaounde. See Below….

For 4 days we are ministering in a church in Akwa, Douala, Cameroon. Many were touched, healed, delivered and saved by the power of God.

Cameroon has 240 ethnic groups. On the map it looks like a rooster. It has not witnessed mass tourism. It is not a country to visit for fun, except by organized tours.
It is dangerous in the market places, it is beautiful on the beach, the language is English to the west and French to the east.

Kumbo, close to Baminda, Northwest Province of Cameroon.
The people speak mostly English.
We send 2 of our Workers to Kumbo, as they have supported various mission projects in Kumbo.

It was a very adventureous journey, from a broken down car, overheated car to dirt roads with huge holes in it, making the car jump including the passengers for serveral hours.
The duration of the whole trip was 13 hours driving with only 10 min stop.
It is dangerous to drive at night, as the roads are very unreliable, sometimes so small with sidewall falling steep down.
Pastor Victor visited this mission 2008.

Our workers had a hash time, from the stay in the hotel with shower bringing out only water droplets, of course only cold water, having many little bugs on the wall moving around next to your bed etc.

Yaounde, It Is Easy Ministries Outdoor Crusade
Was organized through It Is Easy Ministries, with cooperation with churches in Yaounde.
In the Morning we had Pastor Meetings, where Evangelist Dr. Judith and Bishop Prince Gideon taught.
In the evenings we had evangelism.

These are photos, to show how Yaounde looked like in 2010.

The wild animals we encountered in the zoo in Yaounde were amazing.
The animals are so well taken care of. They have all so much more space than in western zoos. The monkeys have a lot of running and play space with lots of green.
We had a tour and we were so amazed to see so many local Cameroonian animals.
