Farewell dinner gala on 24 November 2008 at the Hotel
Sheraton Jerusalem Plaza.
Each bus (containing up to 50 people) will have a
professional, registered guide.
The guides speak English.
Tips will be collected on behalf of every bus.
If you are arriving in Amsterdam before 15 November
2008, accomodations are available at Sheraton
Hotel Schiphol Airport Amsterdam.

A valid passport is required which must expire no
earlier than 6 months after the tour ends.
Your passport must be valid until at least May 2009.
Please check if citizens of your country require a visa in order to visit Israel.
Israeli border guards might stamp the entry and exit stamps on a separate piece of paper if you ask, and not in your passport.
Having an Israel stamp in your passport may stop you
from entering;
Algeria, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Syria,
Sudan, UAE and Yemen.
Checked luggage cannot exceed 20 kilograms (Amsterdam to Israel.)
Hand luggage cannot exceed 5 kilograms (Amsterdam to Israel.)
There will be a security check, interview at the
Amsterdam Airport.
This procedure should take about 30-45 minutes.
Please ensure that you have all your travel documents as
well as your travel itinerary.
The national currency is the New Israeli Shekel. One Shekel is worth about 20 Eurocents.
Do not exchange Shekels in your own country.
Currency can be easlily exchanged throughout Israel at
hotels, money exchange offices, and ATM machines.
The temperature in the month of November is very
pleasant.
In the northern part of Israel we can expect 20 C (68 F).
Jerusalem will be about18 C (65 F).
We suggest bringing jackets/coats as it cools down in the evening.
Guidelines include:
Ladies; No mini dresses or short pants, or bikinis.
Men: no short swimsuits (must be pants with legs).
Please be sure to bring Gala suits and dresses for the "farewell dinner gala" on the final evening of the tour.
The Food in Israel is westernized. Kosher meals are widely available.
The local diet includes chicken, turkey, fish, rice,
fresh vegetables, and salads.
The diet also inclues bread, olives, fresh juice, and
pita bread.
Water is drinkable from the taps
throughout Israel.
We also recommend bottled water.
The Power grid operates on a 220 VAC/ 50 Hz system.
Israels standard plug is unique to Israel and is
incompatible with all other plugs. It is rated at 16
amps.
Please be sure to bring a world-plug that allows for this
system.
You need to be adequately insured for medical & travel emergencies.
